2008 Twofo Summer Camping (Take 3!)

I'll post this again seeing as Cocodude royally fucked up and deleted everything [We're not gonna let you live that down

]

We are planning to go camping again this year, it was discussed that somewhere down south might be good [seeing as the majority of us live down here anyway!] and the New Forest has been suggested as a possibility.

Please post if you think that you would like to go or if you have any ideas about where we could possibly stay, etc.

Well, as for dates, I don't finish my exams until June 4th, and I start my dissertation from June 23rd onwards, so I will only have weekends free over the summer.

Right, due partly to disorganization and other events happening, nothing more has been said about this...

I discussed it with Cocodude at the social and we have decided that possibly one of the first three weekends in August would be most suitable for this.

We decided that a full week may not be a good idea as Kat still has her thesis to write so we were thinking of Thursday-Sunday.

The suggested dates are as follows:
31st July -> 3rd August
7th -> 10th
14th -> 17th

Comments, suggestions, etc.

Hello all,

Sorry about the lack of posting on my part! It seems my dissertation is turning out to be a lot more work than I thought it would be and so I don't think I can take any time out of it until it's finished [the deadline is 19/09/08].

So how about camping in September - it'll be before term starts and hopefully enough notice to give employers to take time off! Also it has the added advantage of being out of peak time so it will be cheaper and we won't have a campsite full of little kids running around [well, apart from us of course

]!

I'll get the ball rolling with dates - how about Thursday 25th Sept - Sunday 28th September [weather permitting of course!]?

I promise I'll be more organized this time round and hopefully we can get everything done well in advance.

Sorry, I can't do those dates.

I'm only free the first weekend of September, the weekend 11th-12th October and 25th-26th October and beyond.

As I'm almost fully booked, don't let this stop you from going camping during this time anyway! I'm just quite awkward :p
