thespaghettimonster is, but i think it's broken. Always returns dud units, so doesn;t get credit, despite taking weeks to complete workunits that ought to last only a few hours. All the other ancient ones are running it though

I'm talking boinc units, everything else runs fine (as far as i can tell)

ah ok.. u maybe not installing them right?? or perhaps the CPU, Motherboard etc just isn't happy with Boinc

It's hardware, it was doing it on win2k too (before it was a sever) and I know how to install it on there

why not?? a machine is still good as an extra small server even when others consider it obsolete.. it's just windoze ware that's really hardware demanding... u can easily run a commandline only system with very old hardware.. using LIN-UX!!!
