I was also going on the "it's the week after meta" given the date in the first post, that should have been enough even without the week 3 information.

Did we ever get anywhere near deciding a date, or venue, or.....penguin?

OK then, as this thread seemed to die as if I said the last line, I thought it might be an idea to breathe some life into it.
With term 2 rapidly moving by for some (ie. those with actual things to do), we're running out of time to set a date for this socially type thing/piss up. This leaves us with the following weekends (within reasonable planning times)
16th-18th Feb - So far, BigG and Kat (and probably more knowing how these things work) can't make it to part or all
23rd-25th Feb - Meta (those not wanting to go there can hide in the grad easily enough)
Any weekend in March - Cocodude can't attend (Just not official without our supreme commander present now it is :P)

Personally it's looking more like the weekend of Meta, with pre-social on the Friday and main social on the Saturday working around/between/over/under/next to/after and before Meta itself
It also gives more than a fortnight for anybody that needs to make arrangements to get there to do so.
Right, me done, anybody else have any suggestions/comments?

It's now looking very unlikely I can do March at all. This basically leaves the Metamorphosis weekend when most people can make it. Do people mind if we hold the social on this weekend, and those that don't want to go to Meta can go to the Graduate?

Shall we do the standard deal of a presocial in Leamington, going somewhere other than just Benjamin Satchwell's? :) Depending on interest, the main social could actually be on the Friday (and possibly on campus again), with the Meta social on the Saturday. What do you think?

Oh crappertycrapcrap. I can't even make the Friday just before Metamorphosis :( It turns out for me that Saturday 10th, the 16th and 17th, and Saturday 24th are the only real days I can make it.

I don't mind not turning up to one of the socials if it comes down to it.

Let's make a decision shortly. Perhaps still do the Metamorphosis weekend, but just without me on the Friday?

It was suggested that we do not only go to 'spoons, but it might be an idea to go there to start with as

a) Beer is cheap
b) Food is cheap

I will more than likely want to eat something as I will probably pretty much go straight from work.
