Re: Twofo down? See this thread (Current status: Online)
The whole server was down from ~2am-10am last night (13/03/2010) due to a server crash. Everything back up and running normally now

Re: help please! I'm a prat who's forgotten his password...
You probably won't have forgotten your password, that nick will simply have been registered to somebody else a long time ago (unless you did register that one of course ). Pick a different nick and it ought to work

Re: Search and File List problems
You could have asked on the hub itself you know, for a more instant response :P Disused, try putting your IP from http://checkip.dyndns.org/ into the IP (or External/WAN IP) box in File -> Settings -> Connection Settings. Make sure it is the CORRECT IP before asking further questions (Just because i...

Re: Banned:(
No that is just a random option in settings which can be disabled (used for things in DC which we don't make use of in twofo). So go to File -> Settings -> Advanced and untick the box for 'Register dchub:// magnet links with windows' (or something to that effect, can't remember the exact phrasing of...

Re: Banned:(
You don't look banned to me (meaning it was probably only an hour or two long ban and so has timed out), so you ought to be able to connect now

Re: Please help
Don't suppose you can give us any details? Like say your nick on the hub and IP?
Also what message is it giving you when you try to connect (copy/paste it into here is the most useful) as it might not be you are banned but some misconfiguration somewhere/not running stunnel etc.

Re: Can you help please?
You were kicked for showing up as having dropped from 15GB down to 6GB share size. The general idea is to keep shared what you can/have for other people

Re: Can't connect..
stunnel may be open yes, but I can see that DC is quite obviously connecting to the wrong address. Where is says [23:55] *** Connecting to hub.twofo.co.uk:4144... it ought to be reading as [23:55] *** Connecting to localhost:8000... To manually force it to connect to localhost:8000 go to File -> Qui...

Re: Can't connect..
You need to be using stunnel to connect to twofo from campus. ITS blocks the normal connection. (ie. if you have stunnel already you ought to be connecting to localhost:8000 not the actual hub address). Did you get the twofo preconfigured client? If not you can get it from http://www.twofo.co.uk/res...

Same answer as for Joseph above
(And the hub record for you has 'Most ever shared: 8.50 GiB' )
And for the record, I am locking this topic now rather than have it turn into another series of 'Why am I banned' ones
You can start another thread if you need to reply.

Dork Status
I would hereby like to make a formal complaint about the use of the word 'Dork' to describe people with more than 1000 posts. Just because I am better than the rest of you
