Client versions and minimum share
Term has started and twofo is gradually getting busier. Obviously all new users are welcome, links are on the twofo wiki about how to connect. Also, those of you connecting should take a close look at the Firewall Guides on the wiki. This is your best bet for protecting yourself from ITS whilst on the hub.
DC Clients: Most people online are using the latest, or near to latest versions, of the DC++ client. This is totally incompatible with the older versions (prior to about v0.666). This means if you have a client older than this you really ought to upgrade in order to be able to use the hub effectively. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dcplusplus/DCPlusPlus-0.699.exe?use_mirror=kent Clients older than 0.666 are shortly going to be banned on the hub so they won't be able to connect at all.
Minimum Share: The minimum share on the hub is currently still at 0. This will remain for a couple of weeks more now before we re-implement it. After that you will have to be sharing whatever we set in order to connect to the hub. We will not set the share at a very high level as there are obvious those people with smaller hard drives that cannot share alot. However, those of you who can share more should be doing so, for the benefit of everybody else on the hub.
