twofo represents the state of online discussion and filesharing for students at the University of Warwick. At present, it consists of a Direct Connect ('DC++') hub which is situated off campus, allowing us to discuss stuff. There is unlikely to be an on campus alternative anytime in the future, however anybody from campus is free to connect. Please see the links below for more information.

Twofo ISP Issues![[something went wrong] [something went wrong]](http://www.twofo.co.uk/pics/explosion_sm.jpg)
The hosting centre twofo is located in is having severe problems with its routers at present so access to the hub is intermittent if possible at all. There is nothing unfortunately we can do about this besides wait for them to fix the problem(s) and there no available ETA on this at the present time.
EDIT: They have now fixed their routers so everybody should now be able to access the hub once again.

All of you are probably aware just how reliable the twofo server is. What you may not know is that it's run on a server owned by the regular user* Cocodude at his company GigaTux. The physical server is shared with customers that essentially rent a segment of it with their own RAM, hard drive space and basically an entire Linux Operating System.
There is some spare capacity on the servers at present, so GigaTux are actively looking for new customers. This is where you come in. If you know of anyone that might be interested in our services, and you can recommend them to us before the end of October 2009, we are offering the following on any Virtual Private Server package, from 1 month to 1 year:
- 25% discount for the new customer on advertised prices
- 20% of the value as cash for you (up to £156**)
- 5% of the value to go into a twofo cake fund for cakes at the next social.
All you need to do is get the customer go to the address http://www.gigatux.com/?voucher=TWO-NICKNAME, where NICKNAME is your twofo nickname on the forum. I'll then get in touch with you and transfer your 20% to you on a successful sale. Any questions, please email me at info@gigatux.com.
* - OK, so I should be more of a regular user than I am.
** - This is for an Enterprise E VPS for 12 months.
