Afraid I've been really stupid:

changed my nickname (to 'joseph') and have now been asked to supply a password...
... which I can't remember at all.

any way to find my password/reset it/etc?

You probably won't have forgotten your password, that nick will simply have been registered to somebody else a long time ago (unless you did register that one of course ). Pick a different nick and it ought to work
