Hey, i got banned for apparently not sharing all i have
but as my laptop is new i really only do have the 5gb required
is there anyway i can get unbanned if i get more stuff to upload??

You don't look banned to me (meaning it was probably only an hour or two long ban and so has timed out), so you ought to be able to connect now

Oh right, when i first open DC++ it comes up with the message:
Error registering Magnet link handler
is this something ive done wrong??

No that is just a random option in settings which can be disabled (used for things in DC which we don't make use of in twofo). So go to File -> Settings -> Advanced and untick the box for 'Register dchub:// magnet links with windows' (or something to that effect, can't remember the exact phrasing of it here).
