Hi,

Does anyone else find that the campus connection has limited bandwidth even when just browsing sites?

Its unusal as the first few pages load very quickly, then after a while it all slows up... does anyone know if this is ITS being gits or just problems with network?

As far as I am aware, ITS have not implemented any bandwidth limiting, this would be stupid and pointless considering the size of the pipe that they have.

I think that ITS are just having some problems with the network atm

i was wondering my self if they had implemented a bandwidth limiting scheme, so decided to test my connection speed.
It came back on one test as equal to a 56kbps modem, and another sed it was inbetween that and an isdn line,
