Hi, I've looked through the help pages you have provided but I still can't see any users.

I am using the standard DC++ (0.691) and unblocked it from windows firewall. I can connect to twofo.kicks-ass.net:4145 and twofo.kicks-ass.net:4144 but no users or welcome messages show.

My nick on it is iconoclast.
I am sharing 22GB and I'm living in Hurst so I'm pretty sure I'm on RESNET.

Any ideas?

Also note that you should use hub.twofo.co.uk and not twofo.kicks-ass.net any more.
