I asked them to change their connection type to something more suitable for off campus than LAN(T3)
[22:36:28] <astropoint> go into file, then settings
[22:36:38] <astropoint> then click on connection settings on the left
[22:36:40] <xxx> and then?
[22:36:55] <xxx> ok...
[22:37:00] <xxx> done that
[22:37:48] <astropoint> there should be a box that says LAN(t3)
[22:37:55] <astropoint> click in it, and a list of options will appear
[22:37:58] <xxx> yeap thats right
[22:38:23] <xxx> ok i have already seen my options
[22:38:35] <xxx> should i change it????and why?
[22:39:35] <astropoint> it's an indication for other people that your off campus
[22:39:40] <astropoint> so won;t get campus speeds from you
