Nearly all servers run linux, and have done for some time. If I recall correctly a few of the MS servers are running OpenBSD

Wooohoo...my first post whilst being on linux!
SuSE rocks!! The Kat has been converted. It even works on my dying laptop! Damn lappy wouldn't even run on windows without crashing.

That astropoint won't start with Linux until he has to format his computer for whatever reason - don't want to take the risk that it will corrupt the windows directory and i really can't be arsed backing everything up for the 3rd time in as many months.
I will get there eventually though

linux is a dirty os (only cos i never used it) its seems to much effort to switch from my cruel mickeysoft os upbringing

u say that till u try linux or rather till u sense its power.. once u realize the stuff linux allows u'll be converted.. tho mickeysoft is still a part of my left I would prefer to live a microsoft free life

Kat have u gotten anywhere with the customization yet?? also astropoint u not gonna be playing with kats lappy over xmas?? I think u should.. might as well start playing with linux now.. get used to it so u kno it for when u install it on ur own lappy

Kat's lappy is a good 100 miles away unfortunetly so no linux playing for me

they're not considered a part of the warwick filesharing community or any filesharing community for that matter.. they cant work DC how are they filesharers then??
