Fuck this, I had an internet connection 5 times faster than this in 1998. Fuck ITS for turning back the clock on my ass to prehistoric times of 56k beep-o-rama. upload seems to get better at night but i never break the 3Mbps mark.

btw guys.... If you are experiencing slow connections please do the following and pm it to me. I'll pass it on to the engineers.

ping rackspace.co.uk
ping google.co.uk
ping bbc.co.uk

tracert google.co.uk

results on 3 of those speedtests

and add your IP and MAC address pls.

It would also be helpful if you could do this at both a peak and a non peak time.

hmm some of those connections seemed very nice (downstream) were they external??? I thought they had restricted downloads to 2.5Mbit per subnet

man I sooo dont understand ITS... they've seriously gotta work on their communication skills

well according to wat was quoted by a student having had a meeting with ITS director etc.. u would get automatically banned by a new script they were introducing... ahh wait I just answered my own question.. this script isnt there yet.. but then another thing.. would making a speed test get u banned???
