Well we could do 11th-12th October - it might be a little chilly though, but hey we've camped in worse weather [*remembers the storms and floods of Great Langdale* ]. What do people think then?

Could work, but as you say it might be chilly.
I won't be able to do the Friday (probably) but that's not a major issue.

Will query whether or not whyis is back.
I'm up for some rough weather camping.
Whyis will be able to regail you with the tale of the 9 man tent.

I'm in Australia (and that part of the world) in October... shame.. I'm totally up for a camping trip at some point.. no matter how cold

the mid-october dates sound good... if you're doing it then, then permit me to join you all
i guess we'll sort out tenting/sleeping arrangements closer to the time - i.e. whether i need to actually expend effort and purchase stuff for it..
