I really feel sometimes that they don't listen to a damned word I say

http://checkip.dyndns.org/ into the IP (or External/WAN IP) box in File -> Settings -> Connection Settings. Make sure it is the CORRECT IP before asking further questions (Just because it was one thing yesterday doesn't mean to say it is the same today as it does change from time to time). Many searching/downloading problems are caused by an incorrect IP or lack of the IP.
If this doesn't work, then you may want to consult the connection guide at

damn those are funny.. the filelist is the best one.. I had a few good ones.. one guy didn't know how to share I kept tellling him in the end yoinkster kicked him for having a 0B share.. I thought it was fair enough since he if he hadn't figured it out after an or so with the directions I gave him.. well he likely never would.. unfortunately I didn't save it

yes it was private.. I was pestering him with my script that demands to know why he wasn't sharing anything... and his response was he didn't know how.. so I helped him out.. then he asked if everything he downloaded wouldn't automatically be shared.. and I promptly responded "only if you're sharing your downoad folder". And we went full circle to return to the "I still don't know how to share folders"... I'm glad yoinkster kicked him as I was starting to get a bit tired of him being so thick
