Problems connection off campus

When attempting to connect to the Off Campus favorite in the pre-setup exe for DC++ I get this message:

An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

I've still got Direct Connection selected in settings and have put my external IP in the appropriate box.

I tried on my laptop earlier and was able to connect (at least up to the point where it checked my share when I was then DC'd as I have no files on my lappy :/)

Never mind, me being stupid, still had my firewall setup for use on campus so it was blocking external connections of course
