I've just spent an insane amount of money, and here is the end result:
Intel core 2 quad 2.4ghz
4 1GB RAM sticks
BFG 9600GT OC 512MB GDDR3 Dual DVI TV Out PCI-E graphics card
4 internal Hitachi 1TB SATA HDs
2 Lacie 1TB USB HDs
2 Lacie 500GB USB HDs
thermaltake case with 550W power supply
2 Samsung Syncmaster SM2043NW 20" Widescreen LCD Monitors

that 550W PSU will struggle, should have chosen a 700W+

I may just replace it, depends if I decide to get a second GPU and SLI them together.
