Time to start getting dates together for this term's social maybe now?
Weekend of 27th/28th (end of week 8 by my count) as a first suggestion, any others?

No can do on week 9, think not only is there the filmallnighter, and various other bits, but I'm likely to be going Mountainning to York.

Likely to lean towards the weekend Cocodude can make it and the others find easier I'm afraid Kegger at this point

Monkey balls though it may have been branded, due to the presence of Cocodude I think I can definitively decide on the end of week 9 (4th/5th December) for the sake of people's diaries.

Sorry to hear that week's bad for you, Kegger
It'd probably be best to plan these dates in advance and they can only be changed if it's convenient for the vast majority of important people (of which, of course, Kegger is one).
astro, can you do a front page post for this term's social?
For the next two socials, do we want to settle on a specific end-of-week? Week 8 or 9?

Well the term 3 social has to be at the end of week 9 to avoid the exam season. Term 2 one maybe week 8 to avoid all the things (LANs, film allnighters etc etc). I have no idea what dates those will be though as I am a little bit out of sync with term dates at warwick, or anywhere else for that matter (hint hint for any person who does have an idea to post).
I'll do the main page post later today thought for this term
EDIT: Offers of floor places for people to sleep on on the Friday would be much appreciated...

So, an idea that has been floated is doing the Friday social in Coventry rather than leamington due to the greater availability of floorspace of people staying on that side of campus...

yay coventry coventry coventry! change is as good as a rest. as I've said before, I should have a fair amount of floor space for people to utilise if necessary, as I'm quite close to coventry city centre.
