Newbies Guide to Resnet - notes/ideas

Post by echelon »

I thought it would be good to have topic specifically for material for the Noobs guide..

Title could be as stated above "Newbies Guide to Resnet"

well when u have written material u can post it here. Then the different sections can be compiled easily and cocodude wont have too much work to do ;)

I might set up a wiki on twofo shortly so that a few nominated people can edit it.

What, find the person running the DHCP server on campus and shove pointy sticks in places where they really wish they wouldn't? ;)

The wiki is now up for everyone to add to at http://www.twofo.co.uk/ There are no usernames or passwords required to edit it, so feel free to experiment (you can always revert to a previous version). It looks horrible in IE though, but I cba to fixed it right now.

that is not actually very hard to do.. we should be able to get an IRC network running fairly quickly question is just whether to put it on ResNet or where to put it?? (I mean the main network server)
