New Minimum Share (5GB)

Post by astropoint »

In response to the truly daft amount of leeching that is going on on the hub at the moment, the minimum share has been raised from 2GiB to 5GiB.
Far too many people are sharing just above the 2GB limit and yet downloading 10s or 100s of gigabytes a day, which is frankly ridiculous. We realise that there may be some people unable to share the 2GiB and unfortunately it's tough on them. Blame it on the leechers. 5GiB really isn't that much on a modern hard drive to have free to share stuff for DC.

Whilst I'm here, I would just like to ask that if you download a new episode of something, please share it again afterwards. Don't just delete it immediately after watching it. We are reaching points where after a few days, there is still only one source of things like Lost/Prison Break/whatever. If you need some sort of guideline, then share any new episode of something for at least a week. This is for your benefit in the end.
