Connecting

Post by pixie »

Is the hub currently working?
I can't connect to it, it says "connection refused by target machine" when I try to connect. I'm not aware that i've been banned (if that's the case), and don't know any reason why i'd have been banned
Thanks

Are you on campus?
If so, are you sure stunnel is running?
If it is, are you connecting to localhost:8000?

If you're off campus, are you conencting to hub.twofo.co.uk:4144?

That is the address for the old hub, which was redirecting people onto the new hub until it went down :P
Connect to hub.twofo.co.uk:4144 instead

Connecting Issues

Post by Minty »

Hi, I'm trying to connect from Rootes C Block.

I downloaded Stunnel from this website and am trying to connect to localhost:8000

*** Connecting to localhost:8000...
*** Connected
<Hub-Security> This hub is running version 0.7.14 of Open DC Hub.
*** Connection closed

This is the message that comes on DC, I'm sharing 11Gb so I don't know what the problem is?

Thanks for your help!
