Twofo down? See this thread (Current status: Online)

Post by BigG »

Right. As oppose to have about 1000000000 different threads being created about this subject I thought that I'd make one dedicated to it.

If twofo is down, one of the OPs will post it here mmkay
There will be one post for when it goes down, and a corresponding post for when it comes back up.

Anything else posted on this thread will be deleted.

NB. Current status of twofo will be on the LAST post in this thread

And I think this was due to the ADSL line going down (crappy virgin.net/ntl!). I reset it at about 16:30.

Twofo is currently experiencing connection issues thus you may not be able to connect. Bear with it as we don't know what is going on

I was installing some new software and a new kernel. All was OK during the evening. I was at the wrong computer so couldn't easily inform y'all of it.

Twofo is currently down due to maintanience. No ETA on when it will be back up.
[19:20:47] <Cocodude> * THIS HUB NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN, POTENTIALLY FOR A FEW HOURS. THIS WILL HAPPEN IN A FEW MINUTES *

The test hub is running if you want to connect to that - hub.twofo.co.uk for off cmapus or socks5 and localhost:8000 with the latest copies of stunnel.
stunnel is a much mroe reliable method of connection that socks5 as the ssl server should go down and should always be accesible

Damnit, I didn't read the forum before I left for work! If it goes down, could you e-mail me? I always try to read my e-mail before I go to work.

I'll look into what's gone wrong when I get home.

The old twofo hub has gone down for some reason (as of 02:35 28/05/2006). This means anybody who has not updated their client to connect directly to the new hub will not be being forwarded onto it.
If you cannot connect, make sure you are connecting to hub.twofo.co.uk:4144 for off campus or socks5 users, and localhost:8000 for people with the latest stunnel.

The old hub is back up, but now that hub.twofo.co.uk is pretty stable, it may disappear at any time.
