Stupid DC query - please help!

Ok, so I've set up DC++ as explained in the tutorial, using the latest version. I have 15gbs worth of stuff in muy shared folder and my settings are exactly the same as my mate's, who's program works fine (though his version is earlier). Windows firewall is OFF and playing with the norton firewall settings doesnt solve the problem. I connect to twofo, it says, Hub security, this server is runnign version 0.7 blahblahblah
and then it just says, 'connection closed' a few seconds after that.
Itll never stay connected for more than about three seconds!
Any ideas dudes?

u just need an older version of DC++ since the currrent hub isnt compatible with the latest DC++.

note: this bug may soon be fixed. but currently nothing else we can do
