As I promised, I've been working on getting a union policy proposed in the pursuit of compensation for all resnet users and better service from warwick accommodation in regards to the internet service provided. i have finally proposed a policy to achieve this. lol i just did this 5 times..... 202kbs, 2mbs, 2.15mbs, 151kbs, and 6.30mbs quality of service below 10% every time :/ Theres something inconsistent going on. btw guys.... If you are experiencing slow connections please do the following and pm it to me. I'll pass it on to the engineers. cmd prompt....

You've a few things to consider slinky. ITS would not outlaw an FTP like system if it was on campus and not swallowing up tons of external bandwidth. zizzi your displaying a clear misunderstanding of networking here. please look up network contention etc. Resnet also doesnt have 6000 IP addresses... hence the DHCP... very simply the standard isp network model gives a contention ratio. eg if your on 2mb dsl at 50:1 contention thats actually 2mb sh...
