Re: Slow Resnet - Contact ITS
It has happened before due to switches failing in between certain blocks on campus and the rest of the network, but yes, the more people moan about it the more likely they are to pull their collective fingers out and get something done.

Re: Twofo social 15
For that matter....does anybody actually have a BBQ we could use...? Or is it a case of getting something disposable from Tescos on the day. EDIT Also, how many people are likely to not want to go see the football...other than me....even if it is England...? ie. is it worth me sitting in a field by ...

Re: Twofo social 15
Fine by me, I'll put up something a bit more specific on the homepage over the weekend. Spoons (as in all this time I still can't think of any other pubs in Leam off the top of my head) at 7 say on the Friday as a meeting place and move on as and when required? Saturday 5-6 for the BBQ plus a bit of...

Re: Twofo social 15
Ah. I assume it does actually end some time though (please god let the football cease some day....:P) so they can all just toddle off and leave the ones of us who aren't perhaps as bothered to lounge in the dreary rainy English summer and return afterwards? I suspect trying to find a bar on campus (...

Twofo social 15
And slightly late social planning hereby commences. The weekend for the social is the end of week 9, ie. the weekend of 25th-26th June. As before with the term 3 social it has to be then to avoid exams as best as possible and still be during term time. Shall we try for a BBQ again this year and pray...

Re: Can't connect to Twofo.
What's his nick and IP? Looks like he is blocked to me EDIT: Yes you were banned, you were sharing what was obviously only a portion of your share. The idea is to share all you have on the hub to give back to the community. I've unbanned you for now but I would suggest you sort your share out before...

Re: Connecting from Off Campus
Which ISP are you with? That sort of message means you are connecting to the hub, but your download is limited/shaped so much that it can't get past the initial connection window. Also, are you overloading your internet torrenting or whatever as well? An extreme lack of bandwidth can also cause that...

Down again last night from ~6-8:30, but all working again. In case anybody other than me and BigG are following this thread we will be updating the twofo group on facebook with updates should the server go down in future (and thus taking the forums with it :P) http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2...

Re: Connecting using LinuxDC
I think by default stunnel reads from the /etc/stunnel/stunnel.conf file, so that is the one you need to put the bits off the wiki into. Failing that you can specify which conf file to use by doing sudo stunnel /path/to/stunnel.conf Obviously changing it as required for wherever your.conf file is. W...

Re: Connecting using LinuxDC
Sounds to me like stunnel isn't running ok still. How did you start stunnel, what command I mean? Also, which stunnel.conf file are you editing, your own one or the one in /etc/stunnel/?

Re: Connecting using LinuxDC
You need to set the address in LinuxDC to localhost:8000 (and make sure stunnel is running) and that will forward your connection properly onto the hub.
