twofo Statistics

I want to get some nice, fancy statistics about twofo chat working. Would somebody be able to do a bit of research for me and find a program that will take output from a DC++-style log file and putput a series of fancy HTML pages? This program should ideally work on unixy-type systems.

I'm a regular user and wouldn't want to be penalised for the fact that I don't have a large HD! You could always make sure you log on before the minimum share limits set in. That way, you would be immune to the changes. I know what you mean about it penalising many laptop users, but it's an unfortu...

You're right, BigG - users will not be kicked if the share limit goes up while they're on the hub. This may encourage low sharers to use the hub during off-peak periods, which may be a good thing.

Minimum share brainwave.

At 21:45 today, I had a brainwave. ITS's ban appears to be lifted on DC, at least temporarily. This has resulted in over 10TB being shared (woohoo!) but over 200 users (not so good). We all know twofo has seriously issues above the 250 users mark, so I'm thinking of introducing a policy similar to b...

I mean the twofo logo is realy cool... Thank you :-D Not sure what the best part of the night was; both the insane raving and Kat's wonderful, unintentional entertainment were excellent! I just generally really enjoyed it. As for strange points of the night, definitely randomly seeing DukeAmir-Offe...

Definitely will have to have the web address. I hope having your nickname would be possible, but I imagine it may bump up the price by having them personalised.

I'll certainly be getting both, but that's probably obvious!

3 are allowing Internet access for £45/month. Not sure if it's limited though, but I wouldn't be surprised if the service is better than the resnet one even if it's shared between two people :-/

That really was an enjoyable weekend! Thanks to all who came. I'm just about to upload some of the photos I took to the website.

Just reminding everybody to come to this! We're in Rootes bar right now at the long table perpendicular to the bar (I just forgot something so went back to Heronbank).

I am offering Jaffa Cakes to all that come. First come, first served though as there is a limited availability!

I'm pretty sure two years ago it was capped at 40Mbit, with a max of 4Mbit per user at any time, so there's an improvement there at least.

In my first year in Westwood, when we didn't have internet access, I used a mobile phone connected to my computer for Internet access. It would probably work for twofo chat, but file transfers would be very slow (downloading an average MP3 took about an hour). If you connected a 3G phone to your com...

Well, you didn't agree to that policy and they haven't notified anybody of the changes to their T&Cs. I hope some letter does get sent to ICT - it's *appauling* that valid programs are banned on the network when you're paying about £22/month for the service!
