Internet is appaulingly slow here at the moment so it could well be that there is just no bandwidth available (for whatever reason). It seemed to happen on Friday evening so it could be that something broke and they won't get around to fixing it until Monday when people come back into work.

Could have meant BigG's hub I suppose, but I don't think so.
Anyway, it's funnier if it was BigG so let's assume it was

ITS have NOT connected an alarm to your computer for using DC (There is no physical way ITS could do that). Most likely something overheated due to the load and your computer shut itself down.

Hehe - I like the rig CrAzYfOoL. I did a similar thing in first year, except mine had lego legs at each corner. Then, over last summer I eventually decided to build a lego laptop cooler consisting for 4 80mm fans on a lego base. Works beautifully :D http://home.btconnect.com/ManyHappyReturns/Cooler....

It is an unfortunate solution I know, and yes we do know that a 20GB share cuts off alot of laptop users, but it's currently the only one available to limit the number of people on twofo in order to make the hub useable. If anybody thinks they have a better solution (or any other thoughts) we'd all ...

The main problem is that Cocodude's upload physically cannot handle the strain of the hub when there are >250 users online. It is unfortunate, but I think that something drastic probably needs to be done as chat becomes virtually unusable when there are that many people online :(

That sounds fair, this way when ITS ban DC again (which to be fair they almost certainly will), lower sharing people will still be able to get on if they have to good luck to be able to connect.
Nice idea Cocodude
