is it XP pro or home?

Ah I remember the good ole days in HB .... well last term, with Mandrill's colourful kick messages, some of them were genius.

problem with windows workgroups is it will only work for people on your subnet, so is limited in use really. plus theres little to stop people from simply streaming stuff off your pc, which will drain your own bandwidth.

Has anyone considered using waste, its not as fast in terms of transfer speeds, but very secure, it would be a pain to setup and would mean a lot of people would need some tech help (ok 90% of people) ;) but would be worth it in the end. Just a thought. It was used successfully last term as a trial ...
